the “man of affairs”; from the spiritual forces which can be realized only by ceaseless prayer and tireless first-hand study of the Scriptures, to being a hustling promotor full of a fleshly zeal which drives the machinery of a modern church. God pity the church whose pastor is too busy to pray, or to feed on the Word of God! As well might a fire horse rush to the fire too hurried to wait to be hitched to the fire engine. What can the horse do when he arrives? About as much as some “busy” preachers
